A native of North Carolina, Jwalker grew up traveling with his family singing gospel music. He went on to sing popular and classical music in a variety of venues. After studying vocal performance at Mount Olive College, Jwalker spent several years doing regional modeling. He served as host and entertainer for the Miss North Carolina Pageant, The Eastern NC Opry, cabarets, variety shows, and other regional events.

His passion is community service. He works with service organizations including: American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Home, Health and Hospice Care, and the Duke University Medical Center’s “Angels Among Us” Foundation. His goal is to combine his two passions, to entertain and inspire.

In 2004, Jwalker lost his mom to cancer, after battling a brain tumor for nearly ten months. More than anything, he hopes to use his music to increase awareness for brain tumor research.
